Tea Facts ... grading tea
 

Orange Pekoe (OP). A fancy grade of full leaf tea showing no tip, but nice thin leaves rolled lengthwise. 

Flowery Orange Pekoe (FOP). Smaller than OP leaves, also rolled lengthwise. 

Golden Flowery Orange Pekoe (GFOP). Same as FOP with some leaves showing a golden tip. 

Tippy Golden Flowery Orange Pekoe (TGFOP). Same as GFOP except all leaf tips are golden.  Further classified as, Finest Tippy Golden Flowery Orange Pekoe (FTGFOP). 

Broken Orange Pekoe (BOP). A smaller or broken leaf,  that has been broken, deliberately or not. They can also be classified as tippy (TGBOP) or golden (GBOP). 

Broken Orange Pekoe Fannings (BOPF). Are actually the crushed leaves, sometimes called dust.
